CASE STUDY #2 – Recladding An Existing Building

This steel building wasn't a simple design and build job - the building already existed but the outer shell had been damaged in a fire event at the site previously.

As the bulk of the existing frame had been assessed to be safe, it was a case of replacing some of the existing purling and then stripping back the existing outer shell.

Once done this then reclad with new panel work. The portal frame remained as it was, bar the new purling which had been added.
